Ocean Heroes BootcampWith two in-person summits and one virtually, over 1000 students were engaged in interactive workshops and mentorship to create their own campaigns to take action against ocean plastic pollution. Thanks to the great collaboration from a number of organizations and businesses for putting on this event, such as Captain Planet Foundation, 5 Gyres Institute, and Lonely Whale Foundation.

Water Warriors SummitChattahoochee Riverkeeper organized the first-ever Water Warriors Summit to pledge our commitment to the next generation of river stewards. Over 200 students came to learn and act on environmental stewardship with a focus on water resources in the Chattahoochee River basin. Summit programs included water science, advocacy, arts, and media. Program presenters included youth leaders, young professionals, college professors, and environmental science professionals.

Million Dollar VeganThe Animal Hero Kids joined to launch the Million Dollar Vegan campaign to go vegan for their health, for the environment, and for animals. 125,814 people pledged to go vegan with us for the month of January, where each pledge was matched with a donation of $1 to an animal sanctuary.

Ocean ChallengeHannah worked with StudentsRebuild and the Bezos Family Foundation to create a curriculum for students to learn more about the issues affecting our oceans. Included in this detailed curriculum, which is geared to either elementary students or middle/high school students. Over 110,956 youth in 40 countries were engaged, and over $500,000 was donated to ocean conservation
