Meet Hannah Testa
Hannah Testa is a sustainability advocate, international speaker, author, TEDx speaker, politico, and founder of Hannah4Change, a non-profit dedicated to fighting issues that impact the planet. She is a vegan who enjoys healthy living and loves to share her passion with others. Hannah excels at partnering with businesses and government to influence them to develop more sustainable practices. Hannah has received numerous honors and awards, including the People Magazine's "10 Girls Changing the World", TEEN Vogue's "21 Under 21", Teen Earth Day Hero by CNN, the Action for Nature International Young Eco-Hero Award, and many others. She is a board member for several organizations including Captain Planet Foundation and The HAPPY Org., and a youth ambassador for several other organizations.
Hannah is a 21 year old college student and resides in Cumming GA. She is passionate about issues that affect our planet and she has been using her influence since a young age to educate others, as she believes that "knowledge is power".
She is incredibly passionate about animals and environmental issues that have an impact on wildlife. From kindergarten she has utilized her leadership skills to teach and influence others, and has truly become a voice for those that do not have a voice, including rhinos, elephants, horses, bears, dolphins, chimps, and orcas. Hannah has presented to thousands of adults and children across the world - as well as big businesses and local, state, and international government officials - on plastic pollution and practical ways residents can reduce their plastic footprint. Hannah’s ability to see problems and provide practical solutions that are so convincing is extraordinary, and she is able to inspire people that even small changes can make a huge difference in our world.
She has used her influence to work with governmental leaders and business executives to make sustainable decisions. She is working with businesses to develop more sustainable practices, influencing restaurants to reduce their plastic footprint, and partnering with politicians to propose legislation to protect Mother Earth. As some examples of this, she worked as part of a global coalition of NGO's to influence Starbucks to develop a more sustainable coffee cup, she influenced a restaurant chain to switch to paper straws, and she partnered with Kashi to co-create healthy, organic, non-GMO cereals and snacks for kids to prove that healthy food can also taste great.
Through a combination of speaking engagements, articles, social media, videos, partnerships, alliances, and campaigns, Hannah influences positive change in this world.
