We created a traveling quilt - #quiltagainstplastic - with space for approximately 580 pledges from people who want to reduce their plastic footprint. This quilt is over 6'x8' and was showcased at the State Capitol Building on February 15 and other locations across the state and country. We are looking for people to create a pledge, along with their name and city/state, to fill up the quilt. Be a part of this journey by making your pledge in the comment section below or emailing us at [email protected] 🌎

Hi, I found your project by chance. I’m an artist working with reclaimed materials. I’ve been weaving plastic bags, mostly from packaging, etc. I’m so happy someone so young is having such an amazing impact. With this pandemic, it seems saving the planet from plastic waste has taken a back seat with most ppl. Very unfortunate. How do we move forward? I’m feeling overwhelmed by how much I’ve collected, the plastic utensils.
