Georgia has the opportunity to protect animals by passing a bill spearheaded by Hannah4Change along with Senator Nan Orrock (D) that will restrict the sale of products and parts of elephants, rhinos, sharks, sea turtles and other imperiled species and ensure that Georgians do not unwittingly contribute to the illegal wildlife trade. While many of these species reside in countries or oceans thousands of miles away, Georgia can still ensure that it is not supporting the poaching and trafficking that threaten these at-risk species.
