A coalition led by the Bezos Family Foundation and #StudentsRebuild recently announced the launch of an #OceanChallenge for students across the globe. This #OceanChallenge features a couple of 4-minute documentaries of two kids (including me) along with a very well-thought-out curriculum for teachers to follow to get the next generation to care about our oceans (even if they live far from the ocean). If you are a student or parent, ask your school principal or teachers if they'd like to follow the curriculum and teach the students about the environment and ocean health. I’d love for teachers to use this in their teaching to improve our oceans!
The curriculum can be found here: https://www.studentsrebuild.org/ocean-resources And one of the two short documentaries - the one featuring me - is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=0PGIrnnjWQ8 Also, as part of this program, for every artwork about the ocean that is created and sent to the Bezos Family Foundation in Seattle, $2 will be donated to ocean conservation organizations and communities (up to the value of $500,000).

The inclusion of short documentaries and a well-thought-out curriculum makes it engaging for students worldwide. As a participant, I encourage fellow students and parents to reach out to their schools, suggesting the implementation of this curriculum. It's a great opportunity to raise awareness about ocean health, even for those living far from the coast. Let's join hands to educate the next generation and contribute to the well-being of our oceans!
